GRI & Sustainability Content Writer

Role Overview

The GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) & Sustainability Content Writer will be responsible for developing high-quality sustainability and ESG content aligned with global reporting frameworks. The role involves preparing sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, research papers, website content, and thought leadership material related to sustainability, climate change, responsible sourcing, and corporate responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Sustainability Reports based on Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards
• Develop ESG reports, integrated reports, and impact reports for corporate clients
• Draft policies, procedures, and sustainability documentation
• Conduct research on ESG frameworks, regulations, and industry trends
• Write blogs, white papers, articles, and website content related to sustainability
• Assist clients in preparing disclosures for frameworks such as: GRI, ESG reporting, BRSR, and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• Convert technical sustainability data into clear and engaging content
• Work closely with consultants, designers, and analysts to develop visually engaging sustainability reports
• Edit, proofread, and maintain content quality and accuracy
• Support development of case studies, thought leadership articles, and industry insights

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
• Strong understanding of sustainability, ESG concepts, and reporting frameworks
• Ability to analyze technical sustainability data and convert into readable content
• Familiarity with GRI Standards and ESG reporting practices
• Strong attention to detail and structured writing ability
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Journalism, Communications, Business, or related field.
